Biographical NoteBorn in Salt Lake City, Utah, on January 22, 1886, Nancy Clarabell Smith was the older sister of George Albert Smith, 8th president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She attended school for social work in Baltimore and continued being a social worker until her retirement around 1951. Claire died ten years later on March 4, 1961. Content DescriptionThis collection consists of a small diary written by Claire Smith in 1930. Written mainly from New York and Chicago it lists daily events and mentions associates.
