Collection of photographs taken in the late 1940s to
1975 by Anderson Photograph Studio. Most are photographs taken around Preston, Idaho and
Franklin County, Idaho. Subjects include various Preston High School groups and
activities; civic, church, and social groups; a man-hunt from the 1960's; boy scouts;
individual portraits; and various buildings and facilities such as the Franklin County
Courthouse, Franklin Café, Mountain Bell building, O.K. Tire Shop, California Packing
Company, and sugar beet factories.

Content Description
The Anderson Studio photograph collection consists of 186 mostly unidentified images.
These black-and-white photos date from the 1940s to the early 1970s and, with a few
exceptions, were taken in and around Preston, Idaho. Included are images of agriculture,
Preston High School activities, individual portraits, a man-hunt from the 1960s,
accidents, the Preston sugar beet factory, boy scouts, civic and LDS Church groups, and
Preston businesses.
