Overview of the Collection
Biographical NoteThe project was done in 1938 by the Utah Works Progress Administration. Content DescriptionThis collection contains papers, pictures, and notes that pertain to the building of the Manti Waterworks System. The papers came from a file that John R. Nielson, Jr., the foreman of the project, used while working with the waterworks. These papers are quite useful since they include costs, accident reports, information about the materials used, photographs, etc. Once can also learn how primitive or advanced the technology was in 1938 when it came to building water systems. This project was funded by the W.P.A. Some of the papers were repaired and were left in their original order. Use of the Collection
