This volume contains the yard records of Logan, Wellsville, Trenton, Downey, Bancroft, Preston, Dayton, Main St. Grace, Smithfield, Lewiston, Idaho Falls, Blackfoot. Holograph ledger.

Journal D of the Eccles Lumber Company. The last two pages contain receipts from the Hood River Oregon Lumber Company.

Handwritten record of the incorporation of the company and a record of annual stockholder meetings. Also contains some financial data. Holograph ledger.

Includes photocopy of pictures of the mill as well as a blue print and map of the mill. Letters tipped in.

Combined single volume ledger includes records of pickers and products sold from an unknown orchard company from 1901-1911 and insurance policies sold by different insurance companies to Logan and other local Cache County businesses and individuals from 1899-1901.

This bound manuscript contains two volumes: a ledger dating from 1902 to 1907 (vol. 1) and an account books dating from 1907 to 1927 (vol. 2). The former ledger is 591 pages long and contains numerous personal accounts primarily with Franklin County, Idaho residents.

The first entry, dated October 20, 1890, documents the initial gathering of the various sheep companies that ultimately merged their land and resources under the umbrella of the Deseret Live Stock Company. Entries continue through January 4, 1905.

Volume 1 contains records for the Clarkston Public School, beginning September 22, 1913 and ending in 1914, with Ella McEwen as instructor. Volume 2 holds the records of the Clarkston District No. 5 School from September 21, 1914 to 1915, with LaVon G. Smith as instructor. CAUTION: Item has mold; preservation staff recommends limited use.

At the rear of the notebook are two separate entries of meeting minutes. Laid in at the back are teacher ordination certificates for George Stewart Gilbert and Sills S. Newman, both dated 1909.

Written some 30 years later

Unknown author, possibly a Brigham Young College student, created a miscellaneous account of information about Utah and Cache County including population elevation, elected officials, business addresses, train departures, etc.

This bound manuscript contains Lieutenant W.W. Scott's notes on a naval course on radar technology held during 1944, including information on such subjects as "Communication Procedure", "Fighter Direction : Five Situations", and other similar subjects. Also included in the notebook is a list of "Suggested Equipment for Officers Assigned to South or Southwest Pacific", which indicates the area in which Scott likely served.

Stationery notebook with Shaker songs, using a clear cursive longhand text, with the corresponding music in Shaker letteral musical shorthand below each line; visible are named notes (a, d, e, f, g) common time and cut-time symbols, join and slur marks, repeat signs, and accolade symbols.

Shaker letteral music notation used letters of the alphabet (a-b-c-d-e-f-g-a), in addition to other musical symbols, rather than modern staff notation. It was used by Shakers as a kind of musical shorthand, so that tunes could be copied down quickly, and was continued as a mark of difference between Shaker and other music.

Includes numerous mounted fabric samples, with handwritten notes.

Lorin Farr was the first mayor of Ogden in 1850. This ledger includes two distinct parts. The first is an account record dating from 1833 to 1839, which appears to be from a sawmill but is of unknown origin. References to "Sparta" in the record may refer to Sparta, New York, a community with historical ties to the lumber industry that is situated within close proximity to Palmyra. It is unlikely this record was kept by Farr, as he would have been rather young at the time of its creation and was living in Vermont. The second part is a Weber County court docket dating from 1850 to 1855, which aligns with the early years of Farr's tenure as mayor.
