William Theron Barker (1910-1975) of Newton, Utah attended Utah State University from 1929 to 1933 and graduated with a degree in Arts and Science. He was both a wrestler and a football player at the college.
The William Barker Photograph Collection consists of 29 select snapshots which were copied out of an album that originally belonged to Mr. Barker. The images were taken from the 1920s to the 1940s and consist of views of the North Cache High School, football at the Agricultural College of Utah (now Utah State University), college student activities, and Logan Canyon. Also included are photos of football coaches George Nelson and E.L. "Dick" Romney, and Casper's Ice Cream. The album was loaned for copying by Ailene Culmsee in October of 1993.
